Welcome to the Cyprus
Stock Exchange

How it all started?
The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) was founded with the aim of promoting the development of the securities market in Cyprus and creating a platform for the establishment and operation of a stock exchange, in accordance with the Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange Law. This law was enacted by the House of Representatives in April 1993, and the exchange officially started operations on March 29, 1996. In 2006, the CSE joined forces with the Athens Stock Exchange to establish a common platform. Additionally, the CSE is a member of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges.

Diversification Strategy
Through the Emerging Companies Market (ECM), the exchange offers private and public companies the opportunity to list their bonds, while public companies can list their shares. In either scenario, the exchange provides the ISIN code and ensures that the prices are transmitted through official financial data vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters terminals.
